Some of you may know of Mr. Sharp. He is a fourth grade teacher in Michigan who is CRAZY about books. He says that, "Reading is AWESOME!!" Well, he has made a fun video about one book that he didn't like at all and a whole bunch of books that he loves. The funny thing is that he did it with the song, "Call Me Maybe."  We hope that your summer reading is off to a great start. I will be taking Pete the Cat around with me this summer. I will let you see some of the cool places he is visiting. Let us know what you are reading. Are you reading an exciting chapter book, a great graphic novel, lots of picture books, some interesting non-fiction? If not, make a plan to get started. I hope to see lots of students in the fall telling me about how they read a book a month, a book a week, or even a book a day.
